Student Representative Council (MPP)

The UNIMAS Student Representative Council (MPP) consists of 16 UNIMAS students who have been entrusted to represent students for their respective programs. MPP acts as an intermediary between students and the management in addition to organizing activities that are beneficial for UNIMAS students. In addition to being a student representative, the MPP is also responsible for safeguarding the welfare and rights of students in an effort to produce students who are superior in terms of personality and academics in line with the MPP’s slogan.

Randau has been one of the most common way to go for when it comes to engaging with local stakeholders and the local community. The term “Randau” derived from the local language describes as a platform to gather and exchange ideas. Randau usually involves gathering community members to engage in discussions, share ideas, and collaborate on various matters that are of importance to the community.

Through UNIMAS Integrity Division, UNIMAS is committed to upholding the highest ethical standards and has put in place several policies and guidelines against corruption and bribery. Among them are Prohibition Policy on Receiving Gifts in UNIMAS. All the related policies and guidelines can be referred from UNIMAS Integrity Division.

UNIMAS has always been providing expert counsel to local, regional, and national government bodies through consultation and active engagement in governmental committees. Consultation projects by UNIMAS expertise are managed through UNIMAS Holdings Sdn. Bhd. UHSB is a is a dynamic company that act as a commercial and investment arm of UNIMAS caters to stakeholders within and outside UNIMAS.

As a university, UNIMAS plays a pivotal role in creating a neutral and secure environment where a wide range of stakeholders can come together, including through conferences, to openly engage in discussions regarding the societal challenges at hand. Conferences act a neutral ground for discussion that brings figures from academics, government, industries as well as NGOs where they can openly engage in dialogue, share insights, and work towards a better understanding of important subjects, ultimately contributing to the advancement of knowledge and the development of effective solutions.
